Married

At the residence of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Mary Aultman Mathews, on Sunday 
Oct. 9th at 10 ˝ o’clock a.m., Mr. L. Jackson Shepherd to Miss Minnie Lee 
Mathews; all of Garden Valley, Ga. Rev. J.T. Adams, officiating.  Mr. Shepherd 
is one of the most substantial young men of Macon County, and Miss Minnie is a 
true representative of Macon County’s fairest daughters, whose intelligence, 
beauty, modest and queenly grace is characteristic of this Southland.  We 
predict for them a prosperous and happy life.
