Simmons – Harris

Miss Lora Simmons and Mr. Gordon Harris, of Garden Valley, were quietly married
at the residence of Hon. Chester Pierce of Henderson, Sunday afternoon October
26th, Rev. J.T. Adams pronouncing the words of solemn marital vows.

The marriage at this time and place had been prearranged and was witnessed by
quite a number of young people of Henderson.

Mrs. Simmon Harris was reared near Garden Valley and of a prominent influential
family and she, by her sweet Christian spirit and queenly grace, has entwined
about her a host of admiring friends, whose best wishes and congratulations are
freely given.  Mr. Harris, is also of a highly respected family, and commands
the respect and confidence of all who are fortunate enough to form his
acquaintance.
