From Interstate 85 and Hwy 441, travel south on Hwy 441 6.5 miles. Turn East on Hwy 98 toward Ila, GA. Travel 6 miles and turn South on Duncan Swindle road. The Cemetery is located about .75 miles on the West side of the road and sets about 175 feet from the road. This report is generated from an on-site reading survey on June 6, 2001 and represents the present condition on this date. The Cemetery has not been researched to determine its history or if other past readings are available. It is unknown if a present or past sexton or caretaker notes are available. The Cemetery is in poor condition and located (hidden) in an est. 1/2 acre wooded area of a fallow pasture field. The site does not appear in Geological Survey maps, however the site is marked by a county road sign at the main intersection of hwy 98 and again at the roadside site. A small section of the Cemetery is fenced with many graves located outside of the fenced area. Thirteen graves are located in the fenced area with unreadable flagstone and fieldstone markers.
