Brown Holly Creek Church Cemetery 607 Holly Creek Church Road Comer, GA 30629 GMD 205 Holly Creek Church Cemetery began as a burial place for church members, but today is shared with the congregation of Springfield Baptist Church in Comer. Springfield is situated between Hwy 72 East and the railroad tracks which leaves no room for a cemetery. To reach the cemetery, take Hwy 98 East from Danielsville, Hwy 98 West from Comer, or Hwy 172 East from Colbert to Gholston Stand intersection. Turn onto Hwy 172 going east from the intersection. Holly Creek Church Road will be the second paved road on the right about 2 miles from the intersection. Turn right here. The church and cemetery will be on the left about one mile from the turn. The newer section of the cemetery in a valley behind the church. The drive to the right of the church leads down to it. The older, upper portion of the cemetery surrounds the back of the church and the parking lot to the right of the church. Graves are placed in a ramdom fashion in this area to the edge of the plateau. Ample parking is available for either section. A., R. C. (may be an Arnold or Allen since others are nearby) ADAMS, S.
