Colbert, GA (West about 2.5 mi., turn south off Hwy 72 (across RR tracks) onto Timber Ridge Lane. Turn right onto Thompson Cemetery Rd. (about 0.25 mi. from tracks).; cemetery is on the left just before the deadend. This cemetery was the family cemetery of Thompson and Morris families who owned a good portion of the lands which surrounded the cemetery. There were, or course, marriages between the families. At this writing, there are still decendents of the two families living on what is left of the families' lands. Most, however, have been sold off over the years.
