Georgia		}
Madison County	} This indenture made this the 6th day of January 1891
 		  between Lemuel Black of the County of Cob and State
aforesaid of the first part and Lemuel Bone of the County of Madison
and State aforesaid of the second part witnesseth that the said Lemuel
Black for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred and one
Dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged does hereby sell and
convey unto the said Lemuel Bone his heirs and assigns a certain
tract or lot of land situated in the County of Madison and State
aforesaid to wit: to wit it being part of the Mary Ann Black place on
the head waters of South Broad River known as plot No 4 of said place
containing forty one acres more or less the boundary line beginning
at a stake on South Broad River and running north 27.75 chs to a rock
thence N 84˝ W. 1640 chs to a cheshire thence S. 22.25 chs to a stage on
South Broad River thence along the channel of said river to the
beginning stake corner  To have and to hold the said bargained 
premises with all and singular the rights members and appurtinan-
ces thereunto appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of
the said Lemuel Bone his heirs executors and administrators the
said bargained premises unto the said Lemuel Bone his heirs
and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title
thereof against themselves and against the claims of all other
persons whatsoever
In witness whereof the said Lemuel Black has hereunto set his
hand affixed his seal and delivered those presents to day
and year first above written	}
