1871, October 20  --- This Indenture made and executed between John W, KING of 
said County unto Perlina W. KING of Madison County, Georgia.  For and in 
consideration of the sum of $150 dollars hath granted, bargained and sold and 
conveyed  and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey in fee 
simple in a certain tract of land containing 60 acres in a saw and grist mill 
situated on Scull Shoal Creek, also my tight, title and interest in 180 acres 
adjoining lands of James DUDLEY, Willis DUDLEY, Thomas HALL, Lemuel DUDLEY and 
Thomas POWER, it being a child’s part or legacy in the lands of his Father, 
James W. KING of Madison County.
