09 Sep 1861 - killed

24 Feb 1862 - His mother, Mary A. Black, filed for
              her son's pay and effects to the Clerk
              of the Inferior Court in Madison County, Ga.

13 Mar 1862 - His mother, Mary A. Black, filed for
	      her son's pay of $97.36 and his
              effects to the Treasury Department.

19 Feb 1863 - Payment made to Mary A. Black for $97.36.
