The Danielsville Monitor April 3, 1925
On Saturday night, March 14, Dr. and Mrs. G.L. Lodea entertained at a reception 
given in honor of the boys basket ball team.

The home was decorated very artistically with unique decorations suitable for the 
occasion. The hostess entertained in her usual gracious manner. Music, games and 
contests were among the features of entertainment. 

Besides the honor guests, those present included the faculty, Mr. and Mrs. M.W. 
Collier, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Hitchcock, Dr. and Mrs. Pear and Mr. Lucius George of 
Atlanta.

A delicious ice course was served.

It was highly enjoyed by everyone present.
