Danielsville Monitor September 20, 1946

   A joyous afternoon was spent by a number of friends, at a Birthday Party, 
on Friday, Sept. 13th, given by Mrs. N. A. Compton, of near Vineyards Creek, 
honoring her daughter, Betty.
   Many games were enjoyed, after which Mrs. Neal Compton assisted by Mrs. 
Charles R. Weart and Mrs. Willie Lee Cooper served delicious ice cream, cake, 
cookies, candy and fruit.
   Those present were Rachael and Alfred Smith, Sue Cooper, Gwendolyn Wood, 
Billie and Huey Hammond Patton, Betty White, Glynn Burden, Willie Jo Chambers, 
Gyp Pittard and Thomas Compton.
