On Nov. 21, 22, 23, 234, 25, 26 there will be in Athens a group of government experts known as the "Clean Up Squad". These men are sent here by the government to assist ex-service men with their claims against the government. It is of the utmost importance that every man having a shadow of a claim against the government meet his squad and present his claim at that time. The government has requested the American Legion to Assist them in this work and as Commander of the local post ___ asking you to give this publicity in your papers. A news item should be run in both papers. If you can do this you will be doing the ex-service men of your community and the government a service. This post of othe American Legion is at the service of anyone needing us in getting their claims presented. Athens will be the center for Jackson, Madison, Elbert, Oglethorpe, Clarke, Barrow, Oconee and Walton Counties. Signed J. R. Northcutt Commander A. R.
