M. when the lower grades present a " Tom Thumb Wedding. " On Friday night at 8:45 the Seniors Class will present the rol_____ comedy, " Aaron Slick from Punkin Click ". The characters are Aaron Slick, who is not as green as he looks played by Carl Herring; Mr. Wilbur Merridew, a crooked specculator, Billy Hardman; Clarence Gren, a mysterious young man, Jo Kelly; Mrs. Rosy Berry and Oklahoma widow, Jeanette Benton; Gladys Mao Merridew, a sweet young thing, Annelle Burroughs; The Girl in Red, Glima Freeman; Little Sis Biggs, a pecular tomboy, Helen Gurley; and entertainers and guests played by Virlyn Black, Relaford Carter, Calvin Chatham, Nellie Ruth Eberhardt, Auston Gray, Evelyn Meadow, Irene Morris, Inez Seagraves, Charlotte Spratlin, Lutrelle Patterson and Geneva Smith. Mrs. Troy Porterfield is director. Sunday morning, May 16th at 11:30 the Commencement Sermon will be held in the School auditorium with Lieut. (j.g.) Arthur W. Hargate, Chaplain of the Navy Pre-flight School Athens, as guest preacher. Rev. Henry Walker, Pastor of Colbert Methodist Church will have charge of the other devotionals. Graduation exercises will be held Monday, May 17th at 8:45, Lieut. Comdr. William Madison Bell, Navy Pre-flight school, Athens, will deliver the address. Annelle Burroughs will be Valedictorian and Irene Morris will give the Salutory. Jeanette Benton will present the Class Gift and diplomas will be presented by Supt. J. K. Brookshire. Rev. F. J.
