Danielsville Monitor August 14, 1925

ECHOLS ANNUAL REUNION

The fifth annual reunion held at the homoe of Mrs. O.Z. Echols Sunday, Aug. 9, 
was enjoyed very much by all present.  There were 30 grandchildren present, 
two were absent.  All the children, 10 in number, were present.

We were glad to have with us Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Williams and family, Mr. and 
Mrs. Charlie Colling and son, Mr. W.M. Threatt, Mr. R.E. Clegg, a 
representative of the Life and Casualty Insurance Co. of Athens, Ga., Mr. 
W.W.  Langston and Mrs. E.D. Keatling, both of Athens.

We believe that we had the best day since the assembly began.  Every one 
received a warm upon arrival, and the entire day was spent in joy and laughter 
together.  The day was closed by song and prayer.  Having spent the day so 
happily, we departed feeling a greater spirit of love for each other.

May God add his blessings to the family and would to Him that we could realize 
a reunion of the entire family on the other shore after this life is over.
