Danielsville Monitor
The little child of Mr. and Mrs.O.L.Jones,which was so badly burned some time 
ago,died Wednesday morning about 5 o'clock was buried at the family ground 
yesterday.The little fellow suffered a great deal,and everything possible was 
done for him,but to no avil.The parents have the sympathy of the town and the 
community in their loss.

 

Additional Comments:
The little child's name was Jeremiah Vaughn Jones and the parents full names 
were Oscar Lee Jones and Susie Ann Tolbert Jones.Jeremiah was buried in the 
Jones family cemetery in Neese - Madison county,Georgia.His headstone also 
bears the name of another sibling reading Infant Jones.There is photos of the 
Jones cemetery online here at the us genweb site.
  Oscar and family can be found in the Dodge county census for year 1920.Also 
in several of the previous years for Madison county,Georgia.Oscar later died in 
Baldwin county,Georgia on May 22,1953 and Susie died on August 11,1938.Both 
parents were buried in Madison county,Georgia at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 
also in Neese.Their tombstone photo is also online.
