They were married on November 12, 1922 in Danielsville, Ga., by Rev. Tom Morris. Around 150 relatives and friends called during the afternoon to offer congratulations. Guests were received by grandson, Ned Berryman, and Mrs. Ellis Fortson and Mrs. Grady Fortson, sisters-in-law of the honored couple. Receiving with the honored were their children, Odelle and Betty Seymour, Easley, S.C., John and Dorothy Seymour, Commerce, T.J. and Bonnie Berryman, of Danielsville. Mr. and Mrs. Seymour have five granddaughters and five grandsons, all being present for this wonderful occasion. For this occasion Mrs. Seymour was wearing an orchid crepe knit dress with a gold chrysanthemum corsage. All flowers used were gold and yellow chrysanthemums and yellow roses. The refreshment table was covered with a linen cut work cloth over gold, centered with a three-tiered wedding cake of white, with yellow roses, topped with a gold bride and groom. Serving were granddaughters of the honored couple, Misses Paula, Marilyn, Barbar and Sandra Seymour, Sharon and Mitch Seymour helped with the napkins. Mrs. Nathan Berryman, granddaughter-in-law kept the guest book. Assisting with gifts were Mrs. Melvin Atkinson and Mrs. Talmadge Fortson, nieces of the honored couple. Also helping were grandsons, Larry Seymour, Nathan, Ned and Ted Berryman. Out of town guests sharing in this happy occasion included friends and relatives from Odensville, Ala., Kannapolis, N.C., Seneca, S.C., St. Mountain, Morrow, Atlanta, Toccoa, Franklin Springs, Royston, Athens, Comer, Carnesville and Ringgold, Ga.
