Miss Meadow stood a civil service examination two years ago, making the highest average of any applicant from Georgia. She received notice of her appointment on Monday and immediately < > her position in the faculty of the Brunswick public schools. Miss Meadow's appointment becomes effective March 6th, but she will leave for Washington on Saturday so as to be present at the inaugural ceremonies.
