Elberton Star September 7, 1948
Mrs. Julian T. Brown, Sr., entertained Sunday at her home on Tusten street 
with a family dinner in honor of her mother, Mrs. D. W. Meadow of Athens, who 
celebrated her 86th birthday.  The home was made lovely with garden flowers.

Those enjoying the occasion were the children, grandchildren and one great 
grandchild.
