J. E. JOHNSON In the passing of Mrs. J. E. Johnson the Fidelis Class has sustained a distinct loss. The severance of sacred associations in ever and always a lasting bereavement in which our memories cling with tender appeal to days gone by, recalling deeds of loving kindness in the paths of our loved ones and friends. Of such is our loss of our coworker, friend and neighbor over a period of many years in which " Miss Allie Sue " as she was affectionately known, lived a most useful life in her home, her church and commmunity. Her life's motto was, " Others. " Even in her last days she was thinking of us who were sick and urging members of her family to visit us. She truly lived the self forgetful life while laboring for the needs and happiness of others. Her friendly smile and her courageous spirit were an inspiration to those with whom she worked in all her church and community affiliations. She was a sacrificial mother and a helpful neighbor. And while we sorrow because of the separation caused by death, we rejoice in the home going of one who was a faithful friend of Jesus Christ and was prepared to go when the call came. There is no death! The stars go down. To rise upon some other shore, And bright in Heaven's jeweled crown they shine for ever more. And ever near us; the unseen, The dear immortal spirits tread; For all the boundless universe is life there are no dead! Therefore be it resolved that we bown in humble submission to an all-wise Savior, and that we commend Him to the Children, relatives and friends as the only comforter. Second: that a copy of these resolutions be furnished the Comer News for publication and the secretary of Fidelis Class for incorporation in the minutes.
