TRIBUTE TO MRS. AMANDA COMPTON

   In memory of our Mother and Grandmother, Mrs. Amanda Compton, who 
died December 12, 1945.  She was 90 years old on December 6, 1945.  She 
was a true Christian and loved her Church and her friends and was always 
willing to do anything she could for others.  Her chair is vacant, her place 
never to be filled.  But her life will always live on in our lives.  We wish 
to thank the many friends for their help and kindness at her death.

At the end of the road
Through which each must go alone;
And there in a light we cannot see
Our Father claims His own.
Beyond the gate your loved one
Finds happiness and rest;
And there is comfort in the thought
That a loving God knows best.
