Badwell, to whom was married two years ago, and has filed a suit for divorce and alimony from her first husband in the Superior Court of this country. In 1895 Mrs. Bowers alleges her husband left her, going to Tennessee, and that for a time he wrote to her, but at gradually increasing intervals until finally his letters ceased coming altogether. For a number of years she sought to locate him until two years ago, believing Bowers to be dead, she married again. Now that she has found that Bowers is still alive and is about to receive a share of his father's $100,000 estate, she has applied for divorce and alimony.
