Danielsville Monitor, Madison Co, GA, 15 Jan 1909

Mrs. Emily Griffeth, relect of the late Jesse W. Griffeth, died here 
last Saturday morning at the home of her son, J. A. Griffeth, after a
long illness, at the age of 68 years.  Mrs. Griffeth was a good mother
in Israel, having joined the Presbyterian church when quite young, and
she remained a faithful member till her death.  Her remains were laid 
to rest in the cemetery here Sunday afternoon, her pastor, Rev. L. A.
Simpson, conducting the funeral services.
