Mrs. Florence Simmons

Danielsville, Ga. - Mrs. Florence Campbell Simmons, 70, of Route 1, wife 
of Albert Simmons, died Sunday (September 6, 1987) at Cobb Memorial 
Hospital.

Born in Madison County, she was a daughter of teh late William Richard 
and Donna Fowler Campbell.  She was a retired employee of Monarch Co., 
Comer, and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving re widower; brothers, Alfred Campbell of Nashville, Tenn., 
Letcher Campbell of Comer, Denver Campbell of Colbert, and T.J. Campbell 
of Danielsville; sisters, Mrs. Alton Bryant of Greenville, S.C., Mrs. 
Garland Christian and Mrs. Calvin Childs of Royston, Mrs. Elmer Beard of 
Athens, Miss joyce Campbell of Danielsville; two grandchildren.
Services at 4 p.m. Monday at Macedonia Holiness Church by the Rev. Ray 
Jenkins.  Burial in the church cemetery.

The body is at the Pruitte Funeral Home, Royston, and will be placed in 
the church at 3:30 p.m. Monday. The family is at the home.
