A native of Madison County, Mrs. Echols was a daughter of the late Johnny Bolton and Inez Bolton. She was a member of the church choir and the Mother Board of Shilo Baptist Church, Carlton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shilo Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Evans officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. S. T. Echols, Comer; two daughters, Birdia Mae Davis and Wanda Echols, both of Comer; four sons, Tommy Echols and Michael Echols, both of Athens, Johnny Echols, Colbert, and Sammy Echols, Athens, Ala.; a sister, Mary Taylor, Atlanta; a brother, the Rev. James Taylor, Atlanta; a niece; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. The family is at the residence. Lexington Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements
