A native of Madison County, Mrs. Jones was a daughter of the late Willie R. and Elsie Mathews Bullock and the widow of Grover L. Jones. She was a cafeteria worker at Colbert Elementary and was retired from University of Georgia Food Services. She was a member of Hull Baptist Church, where she attended Homemakers Sunday school class. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hull Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Weebie Ann Stamps, Decatur, Ala.; three sons, Buddy Jones, Grover L. Jones and Oscar Paul Jones, all of Hull; a sister, Ina Mae Tate, Athens; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Randy Jones, Billy Jones, Russ Stamps, Robert Stamps, Eric Jones and Darren Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Homemakers Sunday School Class. Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
