Sue McCannon Rogers, 88, of Route 1 died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996.

A native of Madison County, Mrs. Rogers was a daughter of the late 
Henry and Nettie Wheeles McCannon and the widow of William Henry Rogers. 
She was a retired office clerk with Sears and a member of Meadow Baptist 
Church.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Meadow Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Tracy Sims officiating. Burial will be in the church 
cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m.

Survivors include a son, Charles M. Veal, Comer; two brothers, H.K. 
McCannon, Comer, and D.L McCannon, Norcross; and a sister, Thelma 
Barton, Spartanburg, S.C.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home, 
Danielsville.
