A native of Madison County, Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late Lum and Heppie Beard Evans. She was the widow of Omer L. "Jack" Adams. She was a homemaker and a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Community Baptist Church with the Revs. David Strickland and Ray Jenkins officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include four sons, Herman, Andrew and Bill Adams, all of Danielsville, and Branson Adams, Royston; four daughters, Edna Allen, Martin, Aurelia Drake, Danielsville, Rebecca Gunnin, Ila, and Eleanor Fitzpatrick, Poca; three sisters, Dell Dove and Nell Highland, both of Comer, and Mary McEwen, Danielsville; 25 grandchildren; 37 great- grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers. The family is at the home. Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church, P.O. Box 746, Danielsville, 30633.
