Carroll D. Jones

Carroll David Jones, 71, of 283 Fourth St. died Monday, Jan. 20, 1997.

A native of Society Hill, S.C., Mr. Jones was a son of the late David 
J. and Celia Wilkes Jones. A Navy veteran, he was a retired pipe fitter 
and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Bernstein Funeral Home. 
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Rock Hill, S.C.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby W. Jones; four stepsons, Bobby 
Wilson, Hull, Johnny Wilson, Center, Tommy Wilson, Commerce, and 
Billy Wilson, Colbert; two stepdaughters, Jo Ann Marable, Hull, and 
Nancy Scoggin, Ila; a sister, Maxine Simmons, Rock Hill; and several 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. today at the funeral home.
