A native of Madison County, Mrs. Bolton was a daughter of Myrtha Sorrells, Hull, and the late Clarence Sorrells Sr. and was the widow of Charlie Bolton Sr. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Good Hope Baptist Church with the Revs. C.M. Hawkins and Jasper McDaniel officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Sims Cemetery. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two daughters, Sandra Sorrells, Athens, and Angela Sorrells, Hull; three sons, Kevin Sorrells, Athens, and Charlie Bolton Jr. and Larry Jermayne Bolton, both of Hull; two sisters, Laverne Anderson and Ruby Sims, both of Hull; six brothers, Clinton Sorrells, Clarence Sorrells Jr., Marion Sorrells, Larry Sorrells and Hershel Sorrells, all of Hull, and George A. Sorrells, Athens; a grandson raised in the home, Darrick Burgess, Athens; and eight grandchildren. Hurley Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
