A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Perry was the granddaughter of the late Noah L. and Virginia Garland and the late R.M. and Maude Thomas Freeman and the daughter of the late Elmer Freeman and Julia Garland Freeman of Toccoa. She had lived in Madison County since 1961 and was a member of Danielsville Baptist Church. She was retired from the Department of Vocational Education at UGA. She was predeceased by a brother, R.M. Freeman. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Friday in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes Madison Chapel. Revs. Mike Hudman and Hilton Purvis will officiate. Interment will be in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Pall bearers will be Eugene Greene, Kenneth Williamson, Bill Hooper, Jimmie Duncan, Ken Clark, and George Strickland. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Danielsville Baptist Church, the Faculty and Staff of the College of Education at UGA, and members of the Booger Hill Ramblers. Survivors, other than her mother, include her husband, Robert W. Perry of Danielsville; two sons and daughters in law, Dale and Carolyn Perry of Hull and Marc and Donna Perry of Danielsville; two sisters, Eleanor Morrow of Naples, NC and Cerelle Holcomb of Martin, GA; a brother, Harold Freeman of Avalon, GA; and five grandchildren, Jessica Perry and Mandy Perry, both of Hull and Robert Marc Perry, Jr., Kayla Perry, and Chandler Perry, all of Danielsville. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Danielsville Baptist Church Building Fund, Courthouse Square, Danielsville, GA 30633.
