Mrs. Phillips was born in Pomona County, MO., March 27, 1921, daughter of the late John Fabris, Sr. and the late Pearl Mae Maxey Fabris. She was retired from Reliance Electric and was a member of Community Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Steward F. Phillips, Danielsville, Ga.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Alan S. and Peggy Phillips, and Danny F. and Carol Phillips, all of Danielsville, Ga.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda and James Mason, Royston, Ga., and Claudia M cCorkle, Knoxville, TN.; a brother, John Fabris, Jr., Hartwell, Ga.; a sister, Venita Watkins, Comer, Ga.; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great- grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Phillips will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 14, 1999 at Community Baptist Church with Revs. David Strickland and Dennis Kesler officiating. Burial will follow in the Danielsville Memorial Garden. Pallbearers will be: Stuart Mason, Quentin Mason, Wiley Phillips, Justin Phillips, Dan Fowler and Andy Messer. The Body is at the Pruitte Funeral Home in Royston, Ga. where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday evening. The family is at the home.
