Marceline Kirk Lester, 59, of 958 Gholston St., died Sunday, 
July 18, 1999.

A native of Madison County, Mrs. Lester was a daughter of the late 
David Hadden and Letty Blanche McUrdy Kirk. She was preceded in 
death by a son, Rickey Lester. She was a textile worker and was of 
the Christian faith.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Vineyards Creek Baptist Church, 
with the Rev. Thomas Dial officiating. The body will be placed in 
the church at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in New Hope Presbyterian 
Church cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Ward Lester; a daughter, Brenda 
Reynolds, Comer; a son, Dallas Lester, Comer; four sisters, Genevive 
Phillips and Sue Abercrombie, both of Danielsville, Rachel Hunsinger, 
Athens, and Jeanette King, Hull; four brothers, Hoyt Kirk, Athens, 
and Edwin Kirk, Ronny Kirk, and Bobby Kirk, all of Danielsville; two 
grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Kirk, Jimmy Kirk, Dennis Kirk, Mike 
Hunsinger, Danny Hunsinger and Brian Kirk.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of the arrangements.
