A native of Madison County, Mrs. Jordan was the daughter of the late Lucius B. and Susie Roberts McElroy. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Thomas and Rev. Wendall Hanley officiating. Burial will be at the Bethel M. Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Alson Lee Jordan of Danielsville; one daughter, Marie Brown of Canon; two sons, Roger Jordan and Larry Jordan, both of Danielsville; three sisters, Annie Sue Royston of Royston, Flarrie House of Danielsville and Gladys King of Greenwood, S.C. and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, David Jordan; two brothers, Fred and Jesse McElroy and two sisters, Estelle McElroy and Nellie Graham. Pallbearers will be the deacons of the New Hope Baptist Church. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Pruitte Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. tonight
