Sara Sims, 69, of 417 Cecil Stewart Road, died Saturday, 
Aug. 21, 1999.

A native of Athens, Mrs. Sims was a daughter of the late George 
Welch and Lucille Draper. She was a homemaker and a member of the 
Little Country Church, Commerce, and Friendship Baptist Church, 
Danielsville.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Meadow Baptist Church 
Cemetery, Madison County.

Survivors include her husband, James H. Sims; and a brother, 
George Lamar Welch, Athens.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today at Lord & 
Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville.
