A native of Madison County, Mrs. Ginn was the widow of Allen Erastus Ginn. She was a homemaker and member of the Ila Baptist Church. Services will be at the Ila Baptist Church, Wednesday, June 9th, 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Fite and Rev. Dayton Logan officiating. Burial will be in the Ila Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Mary G. Phillips, Hull and Virginia G. and Lord Fitzpatrick, Ila; five grandchildren, Lane Fitzpatrick, Greg Phillips, Jane Fitzpatrick, Jennifer Patters, and Mark Phillips; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Florris E. Bettis, Alpharetta, Rosa Mae E. Oliver, Ashburn, Ruth and Robbie Edwards, Lithonia; two brothers, Weyman Edwards, Chamblee, and Hoyt Edwards, Lithonia. Mrs. Ginn was the daughter of the late John and Hattie Hix Edwards. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers, Eva E. Grant, Atlanta, Carris and Arthur Edwards, Commerce. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lord Fitzpatrick, Ila. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ila Cemetery Fund or the Ila Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 203, Ila, GA 30647. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 8th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville.
