Box 12 died Monday, April 12, 1999. A native of Madison County, Mr. McElreath was a son of the late Frank and Bertie Alewine McElreath and was the widower of June Farmer McElreath. He was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 5 p.m. today at Center Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Owensby officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Martin, Tampa, Fla., Jane Duncan, Commerce, and Barbara Spooner, White House, Fla.; a son, Hubert McElreath, Danielsville; two sisters, Florence Parham and Florella Culpepper, both of Commerce; 14 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Wesley Duncan, Sammy Martin, Nicholas McElreath and James Farmer. The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville.
