Bolick Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 16, at Banks County Memorial Gardens, Homer, for Addie Bell Thompson Bolick. The Rev. Jim McLendon will officiate. Mrs. Bolick was a daughter of John Thompson and Mrs. Ola Blackwell Thompson. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Eddy and Mary Bolick, Orlando, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, John and Helen Thompson, Homer; sister-in-law, Wilma Chandler, Homer; three grandchildren; and niece, Elaine Jones, Ila. ---------------------------------------------- The Madison County Journal, September 13, 2000 Robert E. Myers Robert Earl Myers, 79, of Cedartown, formerly of Akron, Ohio, died of heart failure on Saturday, September 9, 2000, at BJC Medical Center, Commerce. Mr. Myers was a veteran of World War II, having served in China, Burma and India. He was a member of the 14th Air Force Flying Tigers, 308th Bomber Group, where he was awarded five Bronze Stars. Mr. Myers had worked as an engineer for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., with 45 years of service. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Zeh Myers, in 1974, and his second wife, Helen Myers, in 1997. A private burial will be held in Ohio. Mr. Myers is survived by four children, Robert Myers II, Phoenix, Ariz., Susan Boyd, Kent, Ohio, Janet Rzewnicki, Newark, Del., and Joyce Phillips, Commerce; and a sister, Dorothy Bushey, Costa Mesa, Calif. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Mr. Myers' memory. Wilder Mrs. Bernice Kirk Wilder, 93, of Greenville, S.C., died Sunday, September 10, 2000, at St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Wilder was born February 25, 1907, in Danielsville. She was a daughter of the late Frank Edgar and Pearl Bridges Kirk. Mrs. Wilder was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Emory Wilder. Graveside services were held Tuesday, September 12, at Graceland Cemetery, West. Survivors include three daughters, Irene W. Smith, Pell City, Ala., Barbara W. Grey, Chipley, Fla., and Sarah W. Losh, Waterloo, S.C.; one son, Clifton John Wilder, Taylors, S.C.; two sisters, Theo Wickliffe, Greenville, S.C., and Evelyn Reid, Easley, S.C.; 18 g randchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren. Willard, 45, of Danielsville, died Tuesday, September 5, 2000. A native of Washtenaw, Mich., Willard was a daughter of Anna Smith Kinser and the late Jessie Harold Kinser. She was employed by General Motors. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include one sister, Nancy Ann Justice, Danielsville; one brother, Gregory Clayton Kinser, Michigan; one niece, Jaclyn Kinser; three nephews, Kyle Kinser, Keith Justice and Jessie Justice; her grandmother, Nora Smith; and several aunts and uncles. Coile Joe Allen Coile, 53, of Comer, died Wednesday, September 6, 2000. A native of Madison County, Mr. Coile was a son of L.E. Dixon Coile, Comer, and the late Joe Alson Coile. He was a campus transit bus driver for the University of Georgia. Mr. Coile was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a former deacon and youth van driver, and was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. Funeral services were held Friday, September 8, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Darvin Cash, James Gunn and Clint Harper officiating. McDaris Charles Conley McDaris, 72, of Comer, died Sunday, September 10, 2000. A native of Clarke County, Mr. McDaris was a son of the late J.B. and Julia Huggins McDaris. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was retired from Westinghouse. Mr. McDaris was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Monday, September 11, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Revs. Elmer Butler and Larry Townsend officiating.
