Williams Rickey Joseph Williams, 51, of Athens, died Monday, November 27, 2000, at BJC Medical Center, Commerce, following a sudden illness. Mr. Williams was born December 17, 1948, in Barrow County. He was a son of the late E.M. and Lois England Williams. Mr. Williams was employed as a mechanic. Graveside services were held Wednesday, November 29, in the Bethabra Baptist Church cemetery, Winder. Survivors include one son, Stacy Williams, Royston; one sister, Marion Jenkins, Cumming; four brothers, D.E. Williams, Gary Williams and Harold Williams, all of Athens, and Eddie Eugene Williams, Watkinsville; and two grandchildren. Acree Worley, 79, of Ila, died Monday, November 27, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens. Mrs. Worley was born August 18, 1921, in Banks County. She was a daughter of the late Grover B. and Pearl Louise Johnson Acree. Mrs. Worley was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Worley. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 29, at Community Baptist Church with the Revs. Ray Jenkins and George Pate officiating. Burial was in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Worley is survived by four daughters, Barbara Brock, Commerce, Linda Haley, Ila, Patricia Hill, Danielsville, and JoNell Payton, Durant, Miss.; 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Loggins Mrs. Ellen Gertrude Bryan Loggins, 89, of Commerce, died Monday, November 20, 2000, at BJC Nursing Home, Commerce. Mrs. Loggins was born October 25, 1911, in Greene County. She was a daughter of the late Mitchell and Janie Mapp Bryan. Mrs. Loggins was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Loggins Sr. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 22, in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Curtis Hammond officiating. Burial was in Howington Cemetery, Nicholson. Mrs. Loggins is survived by two sons, Don Loggins, Commerce, and Fred Loggins Jr., Nicholson; four daughters, Johnnie Frances Howington and Louise Mauldin, both of Commerce, Evelyn Nix, Jefferson, and Nellie Sellers, Oakwood; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Echols John Everette Echols, 62, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Thursday, November 23, 2000. Mr. Echols was born in Danielsville, a son of JB and Sally Hitchcock Echols. He was a retired chief petty officer with the U.S. Navy and was employed with BAE Systems, Pascagoula, Miss. Graveside services were held Tuesday, November 28, in the Old Danielsville Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating. Buck Clary, Joel Taylor, Jim Baskin, Eddy Arnold, Jimmy Wohlgemuth and Paul Auge served as pallbearers. Mr. Echols is survived by his wife, Delena Gayle Arnold Echols; one daughter, Angela Delena Echols; and two sisters, Becky Taylor, Panama City, Fla., and Guynel Wohlgemuth, Gulf Breeze, Fla. Whaley William Grady Whaley, 88, of Danielsville, died Wednesday, November 22, 2000. Mr. Whaley was born in Alexander City, Ala., a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Will Whaley. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army, and was a retired truck driver for ABC. Mr. Whaley was preceded in death by his wife, Liela Pauline Shaw Whaley. Graveside services were held Saturday, November 25, in Haven Hill Cemetery, Monroe. Mr. Whaley is survived by one son, W. Gerald Whaley, Danielsville; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Fitzpatrick Mrs. Kathleen Wade Fitzpatrick, 90, of Danielsville, died Thursday, November 23, 2000. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Ned and Nola Lord Wade. She was a homemaker and a member of Ila Baptist Church. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was preceded in death by her husband, Doris Fitzpatrick, and a son, David "Pete" Fitzpatrick. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 26, at Ila Baptist Church with the Revs. Mark Anderson and Ray Jenkins officiating. Burial was in Ila Cemetery. Mike Fitzpatrick, Leon Fitzpatrick, Reuben Fitzpatrick, Tim Fitzpatrick, David McGinnis and Marc Perry served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Lord Fitzpatrick, Bill Chandler and Darrell Coile. Mrs. Fitzpatrick is survived by one daughter, Peggy Freeman, Danielsville; one brother, Grady Wade, Alto; and two grandchildren, Joy King and Michael Freeman. Burial was in the Moon's Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Hart's grandsons served as pallbearers. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, G.A. She was a retired seamstress with Blue Bell and was a member of Danielsville Baptist Church. Mrs. Moon was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Dorsey Moon. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 25, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Madison Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Hudman officiating. Burial was in the Vineyards Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Billy Ray Kidd, Dennis Coile, Randy Poole, Brent Crider, Mark Poole, Edward Nelms, Wesley Bryant and Jeff Hale served as pallbearers. Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth Fleming, Faye Sanders and Earlene Jordan, all of Danielsville, and Mary Odillon, Hull; one son, Lawrence "Buddy" Moon, Hull; two sisters, Pauline Coile and Frances Brown, both of Comer; one brother, George Nelms, Danielsville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
