A native of Madison County, Mrs. Allen was a daughter of the late Paul and Nell Phillips David, and was the widow of Cleveland Dewitt Allen. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Meadow Baptist Church cemetery with the Revs. Tony Lee and Ray Jenkins officiating. Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Epps and Dawn Renea Allen, both of Colbert, and Donna Thompson, Hull; a stepdaughter, Elaine Threlkeld, Ila; a stepson, Douglas Dewitt, Athens; two sisters, Frances Nelms, Jasper, and Mary Ann Wood ; a brother, Kenneth David, Elberton; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville.
