A native of Madison County, Mr. Berryman was a son of the late Will and Veronica Berryman. He was a self-employed gardener. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Springfield Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Crumbley and Jerry Alexander officiating. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Cora Lee Berryman; a daughter, Ruth Shepard, New York; two sons, Estee Berryman and Lonnie Berryman, both of New York; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
