Drive died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001. A lifelong resident of Madison County, Mr. Burroughs was a son of the late Paul A. and Evie L. Mann Burroughs. He was retired from Southern Cathodic Protection. He was a member of Danielsville United Methodist Church, AARP, and National Rifle Association. He was an honorary member of Georgia Sheriff's Association and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of VFW Post 08377 and American Legion Post 39. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Danielsville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Walter Singletary and Bill Brown officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Shonda L. Rogers and Jennifer L. Tullis, both of Loganville; there sisters, Mary B. Griffeth, Danielsville, Betty B. Zellers, St. Augustine, Fla., and Virginia B. Thomas, Conyers; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
