Lackey Mrs. Shirley A. Lackey, 62, of Colbert, died Saturday, September 15, 2001. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Lackey was a daughter of Reba Hanley Minish, Commerce, and the late Roland Minish. She was retired from Westinghouse and was a member of Gordons Chapel. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, September 17, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville. Burial was in the Minish Family Cemetery. Mr. Caudell was happily married to the late Eva Mae Bjornson Caudell. Born May 17, 1929, in Madison County, he was a son of the late Walter Raleigh Caudell Sr. and Martha Jane Crump Caudell. He was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Thelma, Lucy, Adell, Margie, Junior, Erastus and Gartrell. Mr. Caudell was an electrical lineman and a member of the Local Union 84, and was a well-successful farmer with poultry, cattle and grain for many years. He was a member of the Cattleman's Association, served on the former board of directors for the Farmer's Home Administra-tion and served on the former board of directors for the Madison County Farm Bureau. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, at the Evangelical Methodist Church with the Revs. Ray Jenkins, Tim Peek and Alan Cole officiating. Burial was in the Bluestone Baptist Church cemetery. Tommy Hall, Douglas Horne, Steve Asche, Jerry Kolberdanz, Randy Watson and Barry Fortson served as pallbearers. Mr. Boothe was a member of Farm Bureau and the Arbor Day Foundation.
