Seymour Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Seymour, 70, of Colbert, died Tuesday, December 4, 2001. Born in Madison County, Mrs. Seymour was a daughter of the late Andrew and Clara Hancock McCarty. She had worked as a cook with Colbert Bread Basket and was a member of Colbert United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, December 6, at Colbert United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Haralson officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Colbert Cemetery. Mrs. Seymour is survived by her husband, William Florence Seymour; one son, Ray Seymour, Colbert; one grandchild, Melissa Wyatt; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler Wyatt and Austin Wyatt. Seabolt Mrs. Sara Nell Mabry Seabolt, 61, of Danielsville, died Saturday, December 1, 2001, at her residence. A native of Banks County, Mrs. Seabolt was born June 29, 1940, a daughter of the late Anderson Goodrich and Vesta Elizabeth Bonds Mabry. She was a retired postal worker and was a member of Hudson River Baptist Church. Mrs. Seabolt was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Seabolt. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 3, at Hudson River Baptist Church, Commerce, with the Rev. Bill Manus officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Holbrooks Franklin Delano Roosevelt Holbrooks, 61, of Westminster, S.C., died Sunday, December 2, 2001, at Cobb Memorial Hospital, Royston. Born in Habersham County on November 5, 1940, Mr. Holbrooks was a son of the late William Burris and Mary Jane Holbrooks. He was employed with D&D Trucking Company, Athens, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Holbrooks was of the Baptist denomination. He was preceded in death by a brother, Burris Maston Holbrooks. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, in the chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home, Westminster, S.C., with the Rev. He was a retired stone polisher in the granite industry and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, receiving four Bronze Stars, the American Defense Service Ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal.
