Mauzee Bonds 
Danielsville 

Mauzee Etheldra Belk Bonds, 85, of 8568 Wildcat Bridge Road died 
Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001.

A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Bonds was a daughter of the late 
William Howard Belk Sr. and Eva Mae Robertson Belk and was the widow 
of James Bynum Johnson and of Wilborn W. Bonds.

She was a seamstress and a homemaker and was a member of Trinity 
United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church 
with the Revs. Earl Goode and Robbie Brown officiating. The body will 
be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Agnes Ramsey, Lake City, 
Carolyn Fort, Griffin, and Frances Fortson, Danielsville; two sons, 
Howard Johnson, Winterville, and Michael Bonds, Emerson; two 
stepdaughters, Lorine McConnell, Commerce, and Louise Boozer, 
Allenhurst; three sisters, Imogene Rice, Travelers Rest, S.C., Helen 
Bradley, Ila, and Peggy Isquierdo, Lawrenceville; 16 grandchildren; 
three step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 20 step-great-
grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. 
today at Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston.
