A native of Tennessee, Mrs. Hughes was a daughter of the late Jessie Lindsey and Alberta Ann Jones Hinsley and was the widow of William Hughes. She was a homemaker and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Dayton Logan officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include two sisters, Zora Turner, Danielsville, and Christine Klafert, New Orleans; and a brother, Douglas Hinsley, Maysville. Brown's Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
