A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late William C. Tiller Sr. and Maud Arnold Tiller. She was a homemaker and was a member of Glade United Methodist Church of Carlton. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Berry Funeral Home, Elberton, with the Revs. Linda Jones and Joe Dooley officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Chastain, McDonough; a son, Larry Johnson, Carlton; a brother, William C. Tiller Jr., Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren; a step-grandchild; five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Edwin Shive, Danny Shive, Talmedge Bone, Coleman Dangerfield, Dale Porterfield and Richard Tucker. The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Glade United Methodist Church or to the Glade Fire Department.
