A native of Kershaw, S.C., Mrs. Odom was a daughter of the late Fred Faulkenberry and Lula Hendrix Williams and was the widow of Jack A. Odom. She was preceded in death by a son, Keith Odom. She was a substitute teacher and library aide for Madison County Schools, was a homemaker and was a waitress in Granny's Kitchen, Oglethorpe County. She was a member of Hull Baptist Church. Burial will be in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Odom, Hull; a sister, Dorothy Williams, Kershaw, S.C.; two grandchildren, Kelli Odom and Kristi Odom; a great-granddaughter, Natalie Grace; nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, 890 Boulevard, Athens, Ga. 30601 or to St. Mary's Hospice, P.O. Box 6588, Athens, Ga. 30604.
