Sartain Danielsville Samuel Lee Sartain, 74, of 256 Jot-em-down Road died Tuesday, March 27, 2001. A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, Mr. Sartain was a son of the late Ina Mae Martin and Samuel Lee Sartain Sr. He was a building contractor and a U.S. Army veteran of the World War II. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Revs. Albert Vaughn and Ray Jenkins officiating. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Haggard Sartain; two daughters, Brenda Zareie, Lawrenceville, and Barbara Fogg, Ila; two sons, William Lee ''Bill'' Sartain and Barry Edison Sartain, both of Ila; a sister, Ruth Sartain Gordon, Danielsville; two brothers, Max Sartain, Danielsville, and Neal Sartain, Clayton; 10 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The family is at the residence of Bob and Barbara Fogg, 7960 Highway 98, Ila, and will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
