Ken Fleming Athens Kenneth ''Ken'' L. Fleming, 58, of 101 Woodlake Drive, #401, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002. A native of Madison County, he was a son of Cecil S. Fleming of Comer and the late Austin L. Fleming. He was a veteran of United States Navy, having served in Vietnam, and was retried from Georgia Power. He and his wife Tina, are owners of Pittypat Junction. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2002, at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, WEST. Dr. Jon Appleton will officiate. Interment will be in Athens Memory Gardens. Survivors in addition to his mother and wife include a daughter and son in law, Michelle Fleming and James R. Thomas; four brothers, Steve Fleming of Athens, Ronnie Flemming of Lilburn, Laddy Fleming of Winder, and Scott Fleming of Comer; three grandchildren, Braxton L. Thomas, Brittany Thomas, and Courtney Thomas; eleven nephews and four nieces. Pallbearers will be Michael Embry, David Moon, Adam Fleming, James Fleming, Bruce Moon, Michael Bren, Joey Bren and Gordy Knight. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rheumatology Foundation, 550 Pharr Road, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30305. Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, West, is in charge of arrangements.
