A native of Wichita Falls, Texas, Mr. Morris was a son of Joe Donald Morris, Watkinsville, and the late Donna Rae Phillips Morris. Mr. Morris was a 1977 graduate of Oconee County High School and was employed with Georgia Power as a lineman and dispatcher. He was a member of Watkinsville Masonic Lodge. Ginn Jr. William Emiel (W.E.) Ginn Jr., 65, of Cypress, Texas, formerly of Hart County and Greenville, S.C., died Wednesday, September 11, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, S.C. Mr. Ginn was born in Hart County on September 19, 1936, a son of the late W. Emiel and Dora Seymour Ginn. He worked for Channel-Track and Tube-Way Ind as a salesman in Houston, Texas, for 24 years and was a member of Roper Mountain Baptist Church, Greenville, S.C. He was also a member of the Lone Star Insulator Club of Houston, Texas, the Dixie Jewel Insulator Club of Georgia, and the Instrument Society of America. Mr. Ginn graduated from Royston High School in 1954 and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He served in the U.S. Marines and was retired from Air Products and Chemicals, where he worked as a truck driver. Mr. Martin was a member of the Statham American Legion. Mrs. Puckett was born June 25, 1954, in Athens, a daughter of Louise Young Hilliard, Colbert, and the late Robert D. Hilliard. She was employed as a nurse with Athens Regional Medical Center and was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church, Athens. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 19, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, with the Revs. Terry Smith and Tom Miles officiating. She was a veteran of World War II and was retired from AT & T. Mrs. Luthi had resided in Athens since 1968. She was a member of Athens Duplicate Bridge Club, the AT&T Pioneers and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Luthi was preceded in death by her husband, Pinson “Peck” Luthi, and a son, Mark Stephen Luthi.
