Brown Tommy Joe Brown, 64, of Danielsville, died Friday, November 15, 2002, at Athens Regio-nal Medical Center of a brief illness. A native of Elberton, Mr. Brown was a son of the late John Butler and Annie Ruth Cordell Brown. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sara Crowder and Lizzie Brown. Born in Madison County, Miss Eberhart was a daughter of the late Earl and Pearl Eberhart. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 14, in the Colbert Cemetery with the Rev. Bennett, 84, of Royston, died Wednesday, November 13, 2002, at Cobb Memorial Hospital in Royston. A son of the late Elmer and Mary Cruise Bennett, Mr. Bennett was born February 12, 1918, in Forsyth County. He was co-owner of B&W Gas Company and was a member of Royston United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class and was former member of the Administrative Board. Mr. Bennett was also a member of the Royston Masonic Lodge #52, a former member of the Industrial Authority Association in Carnesville, a charter member of the Royston-Franklin Springs Lions Club, where he received the Melvin Jones Award, and a member of both the Royston- Franklin Springs and Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. In 1987, Mr. Bennett received the Conservation Award from Woodmen of the World. He had also served on the Board of Directors of BB&T Bank and Northeast Georgia Bank. Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by a son, Roger Bennett. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 15, at Royston United Methodist Church with the Revs. Brian Clark and Bobby Anthony officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. She was retired from Blue Bell Manufacturing and was a member of Apple Valley Baptist Church. Mrs. Minish was preceded in death by her husband, A.E. Tom Minish.
